How do you respec in Path of Exile 2? If you’re getting to grips with PoE 2 and perhaps want to change your build or reassign some skills, here’s how to respec.
There are six best PoE 2 builds we’ve seen so far for each class. If you’re hoping to follow one of our handcrafted builds but you’re already part of the way through the campaign, you’re going to need to follow this guide. Chances are you’ve accidentally assigned a skill, or you may have seen a skill you want to invest in. Either way, here’s how to respec your character in Path of Exile 2.
How to respec in Path of Exile 2
Speak to The Hooded One at Clearfell and select the option to ‘Refund ives’. From there, you’re able to refund each of your ive skills for a set amount of gold.
To unlock the option to respec and refund skill points in the Path of Exile 2 ive skill tree, you first need to unlock The Hooded One, an NPC found in the main Clearfell camp. They won’t, however, be available straight away and you need to move through the main story to reach a quest that leads to unlocking the character.
The quest can be found in Act 1 of the campaign and is called ‘The Mysterious Shade’. Once you’ve finished the quest, bring the Count Lachlann’s ring back to Una to unlock The Hooded One. You can then interact with The Hooded One and pay gold to refund your skill points in the ive skill tree.
