What are the current and Marvel Rivals events? There is an entire multiverse worth of story going on in Marvel Rivals, with everything happening everywhere all at once; stopping Spider Zero from pushing the cart is only good enough until the next round starts, and we know that those screaming goats will be back, win or lose. Luckily, there are story events that have a fixed start and end point, and even better, they come with a ton of rewards.
Now in Season 2 of the Marvel Rivals characters, and even cash prizes depending on whether your competitive cogs are turning.

Marvel Rivals events

Flower of Krakoa (Battle )
Duration: April 11, 2025 – July 11, 2025
The Flower of Krakoa battle promises glitz and glamor galore, as the denizens of the multiverse doll themselves up for the Hellfire Gala. But you won’t only find dressed-up versions of Luna Snow and Cloak & Dagger in here, as the Japanese-themed Spider-Oni – an instant inductee into our best Marvel Rivals skins list – and X-Uniform-clad Psylocke and Magik also feature. The latter is giving massive My Hero Academia All Might vibes, and we’re so here for it.
Cerebro Database
Duration: April 11, 2025 – May 9, 2025
It’s bingo time, compadres, as the Cerebro Database event has you completing missions to form lines in a 3×3 grid. Should you get a full house of all four event sections, a swanky Flora Maiden Mantis skin is in it for you.
Play Matches, Earn Rewards
Duration: April 11, 2025 – April 25, 2025
Probably the easiest free Epic skin you’ll ever earn in Marvel Rivals, the Play Matches, Earn Rewards event requires you to play just nine games to snag yourself the Chaos Gown Scarlet Witch skin. Pure chaos guaranteed.

Marvel Rivals Championship S2: Hellfire Gala
Duration: May 10, 2025 – July 7, 2025
To qualify for the third MRC split, you have to reach a minimum rank of Platinum III (up from Gold III in S1) and be part of a faction with six or more . MRC S2 consists of an open and closed qualifier, before moving onto a double-elimination knockout stage. The top 16 teams draw from a $11,900 prize pool, with the top team taking home $6,000.
Even if you don’t claim glory in MRC S2, you will at least get your mitts on the rather delightful MRC Mighty Hero spray.

Darkhold (Battle )
The Darkhold Battle ran from January 10, 2025, until April 11, 2025.
Marvel Rivals’ first full-length battle brought with it some suitably Castlevanian cosmetics for some of the multiverse’s finest. In return for offering your blood, sweat, tears, and more blood, you were able to pick up some pretty slick skins for the likes of Loki, Scarlet Witch, and Wolverine.’
Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure
Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure ran from March 7, 2025, until April 11, 2025.
Galacta returned with a brand new game for us to play. By racking up Power Cosmic from event missions – most of which revolved around the LTM mode Clone Rumble – you could roll the dice and advance around the board, hoovering up rewards, including a yeehaw-coded Black Widow skin.
Marvel Rivals Championship Season 1: Eternal Night Falls
Season 1 of the MRC ran from January 16, 2025, to April 7, 2025.
To qualify for the second MRC split, you had to reach a minimum rank of Gold III (up from Silver III in S0) and be part of a faction with six or more . MRC S1 consisted of an open and closed qualifier, before it moved onto a double-elimination knockout stage. The top 16 teams drew from a $11,900 prize pool, with the top team taking home $6,000.
Midnight Features II
The Midnight Features II event ran from February 21, 2025, to March 21, 2025.
Midnight Features returned for a second round, and the chapter-based event was more of what we already experienced with its predecessor. This time, you snagged a free Groot skin when you finished the collection.
Fortune & Colors
The Fortune & Colors event ran from January 23, 2025, to February 14, 2025.
Lunar New Year celebrations were in full flow, and the Fortune & Colors event had you earn paint from the limited-time game mode, Clash of Dancing Lions (a Lucioball-like), that could subsequently be used to complete the illustration.
Showing off your sporting prowess yielded currency, cosmetics, and a fur-ocious new Star-Lord skin. Or is it Star-Lion?
Midnight Features
The first Midnight Features event ran from January 10, 2025, to February 7, 2025.
With a Draculean invasion on our hands, business is booming for the Daily Bugle. Midnight Features Part One followed the same format as Season 0’s Entangled Moments in that you had to clear chapter-based missions, with new chapters opening up every couple of days.
In return for your efforts, you were rewarded with currency, Gallery Cards, and even a fresh new Thor skin.
Winter Celebration
The Winter Celebration event ran until Thursday, January 5, 2025. During the event, you could take part in a special Splatoon-esque game mode called ‘Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival.’ This had teams of Jeffs battling to decorate the Rivals maps with their colored spray – chaos ensued.
You could also pick up new costumes for Groot, Magik, Rocket, Venom, and Jeff himself. Best of all, Jeff’s could be earned by gathering Golden Frost from missions and decorating the tree on your Winter Celebration Card, so it didn’t cost you a penny. His lil snowsuit features on our list of the best Marvel Rival skins, so we were festively feasting.
Entangled Moments
Entangled Moments was the main Marvel Rivals event for Season 0, and ran until Thursday, January 2, 2025. During the event, you had to complete specific missions set by each of the five event tiles to unlock each one’s story beat and Gallery Card.
Marvel Rivals Championship Season 0: Doom’s Rise
The inaugural Marvel Rivals Championship (MRC) circuit concluded on Sunday, January 5, and 4am / 7am GMT on Monday, January 6, 2025.
To qualify for the tournament you had to reach a minimum rank of Silver III and also be part of a faction with six or more . MRC consists of an open and closed qualifier, before moving onto a double-elimination knockout stage. The top 16 teams drew from a $14,500 prize pool, with the top team taking home $6,000.

Galacta’s Quest
Galacta’s quest was a battle -like event that ran throughout the Marvel Rivals closed beta. It rewarded players for ranking up and gaining XP with cosmetics, sprays, and an exclusive closed beta Cyan Clash Venom skin for those able to advance to the end.
War of The Realms
War of The Realms was a 6v6 competition that ran until August 4, 2024. There were four regions available to : North America, Europe, Asia, and a dedicated console realm. There was a $15,000 prize pool available for the winners, with the top 32 factions receiving permanent titles and the top eight receiving exclusive nameplates.
