How to unlock Yasuke
It’s easy to get sidetracked in this massive open-world game, so if you’ve veered off the main quest at any point, you may need to do some course correction to cross Yasuke’s path as Naoe. First, you must take down Ido Yoshihiro, Wada Koretake, and Wakasa. Refer to the Objectives tab to see which Onryo targets you have assassinated.
Complete these quests to unlock Yasuke in Assassin’s Creed Shadows:
- Friend of My Enemy
- Belly of the Beast
- Temple of the Horseman
- Lightning and Thunder
- Mibuno Showdown
After a lengthy cutscene where Yasuke and Naoe resolve their differences, you will find yourself in your Assassin’s Creed Shadows Hideout with the option to pick between either character. Of course, this isn’t a permanent decision, so feel free to switch between the protagonists at any time by heading to the Inventory tab.
