AOKZOE has just revealed the A1X, the latest handheld gaming PC to utilize the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. It also comes with an 8-inch VRR display and a huge 72.7Wh battery for extended play sessions.
On paper, the Ayaneo 3. While the handheld market is becoming oversaturated, there is still space for powerful devices to stand out, and AOKZOE will be hoping the A1X can beat out the competition.

The AOKZOE A1X is launching via Kickstarter on April 17, 2025, with four models being available to buy.
Model | Specs | Early Bird Price (24 hours) | MSRP |
AOKZOE A1X | AMD 8840U, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD | $799 | $839 |
AOKZOE A1X | AMD Ryzen AI HX 370, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD | $1,059 | $1,159 |
AOKZOE A1X | AMD Ryzen AI HX 370, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD | $1,099 | $1,199 |
AOKZOE A1X | AMD Ryzen AI HX 370, 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD | $1,299 | $1,399 |
The A1X will have an 8-inch, 1,920 x 1,200, 120Hz VRR landscape display, putting it on the higher end of screen sizes currently available in handhelds. It will also have a 72.7Wh battery, which falls just short of the 80Wh battery in the ROG Ally X and MSI Claw 8 AI+, but you can still expect hours of gaming on mid-to-low TDP settings based on my testing of 80Wh handhelds.
The AMD Ryzen AI HX 370 is also a tried and tested portable U, having powered the Ayaneo 3 and OneXFly F1 Pro already. This chip uses Radeon 890M graphics and is capable of running some of the latest releases at high settings with decent frame rates.
On memory and storage, the A1X uses a PCIe 4.0 SSD with capacities of up to 2TB and LPDDR5X-7500 dual-channel RAM with up to 64GB available. You can split this memory between the system and graphics using AMD Software Adrenaline Edition to boost your available VRAM.
Finally, we know that the AOKZOE A1X will have a wealth of ports, including OcuLink, two USB 4.0 ports, a USB-A 3.2 port, a microSD slot, and a 3.5mm jack.
Early indications are that this is yet another powerful gaming handheld that will eclipse the Steam Deck on performance, but can it overcome Windows as an operating system? For a full list of specs and features, you can check out the AOKZOE A1X Kickstarter page when it goes live on April 17.
